Absorption

The composition and large exchange surface of the cob allow it to absorb up to 1.5 times its weight in water. Corn cob allows urine to run to the bottom of the box where it will be absorbed, keeping the animal dry. Corn cob also reduces ammonia fumes from urine by retaining them in its pores.

Very hard

With a hardness equal to iron (4.5 on the Mohs scale), the Eu-Grits range is dust-free and attrition-resistant (does not generate dust during use). 

This hardness makes it easier to handle, as well as easier to clean the cages (does not stick to the bottom of the cage).

The particle size ranges of EUROCOB products are precise and controlled in order to meet the requirements of your animals.

Combustible

Once incinerated, the corn cob leaves only 2% residual ash, which reduces disposal costs.
